All tasks ranging from management to engineering in the company are being handled by experts in respective fields. The company's mission is to make easy and wide access of communication in each and every corner of Nepal also strive to position itself as one of the most well established exemplary companies in telecommunication fraternity within 2019. The company has started its operation since November 8, 2015. Since then it has been collaboratively working with many leading telecommunication companies like NTC, NCELL, Smart Cell, Hello Nepal and many more.

Mahendra Giri

Managing Director (Founder)

Mahendra Giri has a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Pokhara University. He had an opportunity to travel to New Beijing and Shanghai, China while working for Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. He got inspired by the communication network present in those cities. With this inspiration, he founded GBT in May 2015 with a goal to provide internet and phone connectivity to the rural areas of Nepal by installing signal towers. He is passionate about helping people to promote their businesses through internet and phone technologies. In his free time, he likes to improve peoples’ lives in his hometown by encouraging them to utilize agriculture loan offered through Agricultural Development Bank Limited.

Sudarshan Giri

Chief Operating Officer

Sudharshan Giri is a BBA graduate from Kathmandu University and a post graduate on Marketing from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He is a active member of Red Cross International Society Nepal. During the earthquake in April 2015, he also participated as a volunteer to help in the effected area installing tents, food distribution & awareness to health care. During this, he felt a need for better internet and phone connection on remote areas. People lacked access to basic information and by connecting them with information, their lives could be improved significantly. By joining the GBT team as a Chief Operating Officer, he is fulfilling the purpose of being an influential leader to make a positive impact on people’s life. He enjoys taking pictures of people, and their daily lives and makes his cities friend-circle aware of rural Nepal by depicting their innocence and simplicity through these photos.

Yub Raj Giri

Chief Advisor

Yub Giri is a Civil Engineering graduate from Brigham Young University, United States. He provides civil engineering technical feedbacks related to soil strength and CAD drawing on the GBT's projects. He has 3 years of experience with inventory management in the US Army and is currently working as a Civil Engineer in the US Air Force. He believes in effective asset management, which helps in making the right decisions. He is heavily focused on building safety standards and procedures for our employees. His expertise in workplace and construction safety have increased our safety performance tremendously. He emphasizes the importance of soft skill development and is always looking to provide us with the required training to build our expertise. In the United States, he is heavily involved in his community and always looking to make people aware of Nepalese cultures in Cheyenne, WY.

Saujan Basnet

Project Manager, Promoter

Mr. Basnet is Graduate on electrical engineering and has been working with telecom fraternity companies like Huawei, Gtl . He has lots of experience and is quiet resourceful on managing project. As a promoter of Gautam Buddha telecom, he manages various projects of the company.

Mr. Bhandari is engineering graduate on electrical engineering. He has + 5years experience in construction and IT sector and now serving as Project manage and promoter on Gautam Buddha Telecom. He has gained working experience through various telecom companies like NTA, Huawei, GTL.
